About Theresa Rao
Theresa’s connection with skincare began in 1979 after attending John Robert Powers Modeling School in Las Olas, Florida where she first became a makeup artist and took courses in communication and public relations at Broward Community College. Theresa used these skills as a model and as a technician prescreening new product lines at Estee Lauder’s clinical testing labs, Long Island NY.
In 1998 her move to Florida found her in a whole new line of work at The Villages News Network (VNN), first as a makeup artist and reporter, and later as an associate producer for Around The Villages Daily Show, Antique Mystique, and Not So New Newlywed Game. Theresa also served as VNN’s media representative for newcomers to The Villages Community.
Her first love, however has always been skincare. She moved to advanced skincare education and became a licensed Holistic Aesthetician. Theresa is the owner of TT’s Unique Boutique and Wellness Spa providing everything from basic skincare to advanced anti-aging techniques. The key to her success is being an educator to her clients. Her focus has always been on “Good Skincare from the Inside Out!” Theresa believes there is more to skincare than topical ingredients. Good gut health and balanced lifestyle habits play a key part in everyone’s skincare regimen. She has gone on to become an Integrative Health Practitioner and aids her clients through nutritional counseling as they strive through their skincare journey. She is also owner of Vita C Skincare line formulated by Theresa and Marlene Waggenheim, licensed aesthetician owner and chemist of 4.22 Organics.
